With only a few days to go before we leave for Chamonix, I have decided to set up a blog of our time in the Alps. I will be climbing Mont Blanc (4808m) with two other buddies, Stephen Macluskie & Chris MacDougall. We leave on Sunday 3rd August and return on the 11th August. Several days of glacier training and acclimatisation then an attempt on the summit at the end of the week.
